Masters Cricket is a format of the game designed for senior players, typically starting at age 40 and above. It provides opportunities for players in age categories such as Over-40, Over-50, Over-55, Over-60, Over-65, Over-70, and Over-80 to continue playing competitive and social cricket in a structured environment.

Any individual, team, or league that meets the membership criteria outlined in CMCA’s by-laws can join. This includes provincial masters cricket organizations, masters leagues, and clubs/teams with a minimum number of registered players. Players, coaches, officials, and volunteers can also register directly.

CMCA represents masters and senior cricket across all Canadian provinces and territories, including Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and beyond. Our goal is to unify and grow senior cricket nationwide.

No — professional experience is not required. CMCA welcomes players of all skill levels, from recreational cricketers who simply enjoy the game to former competitive players looking to stay active.

CMCA organizes and supports tournaments for various age brackets (40+, 50+, 60+, etc.). Teams from different provinces compete in inter-provincial events, social matches, and international tours. Each tournament is structured to ensure fair play, inclusivity, and opportunities for all registered members.
